About

The person behind the commits

I'm a full stack developer with 9+ years turning messy business requirements into software that just works. The kind of systems I enjoy most are the ones you never think about — billing that runs itself, payments that reconcile cleanly, notifications that never get lost.

My core is Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate) and Python (Django, Celery), with React on the frontend and AWS under the hood. I design REST APIs, build microservices from scratch, wire up Stripe and SendGrid, and handle deployment — whatever it takes to ship reliable software.

I've worked across fintech lending, retail deduction recovery, manufacturing for a European client, and digital media analytics — including 15 months onsite in Brussels leading a Scrum team. Each domain sharpened how I think about building for the people who actually use the software.

What I value most: clean, maintainable code and teams that care about getting things right. Outside work I'm usually chasing new places and good food — the same curiosity that makes a better traveler makes a better engineer.
